Valentina Siu-Chuen Wong attended law school at the prestigious University of Exeter and obtained her Master's degree in Law and Business Management in London, United Kingdom. She moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 2018 to complete her National Committee on Accreditation examinations. Valentina gained experience primarily in civil litigation, family and immigration practice areas during her articling term prior to becoming a full member of the Alberta Bar.
Valentina was born in Ontario, Canada in 1995. She grew up experiencing the amazing Canadian cultural diversity by being a part of an internationally blended family. Her father immigrated to Toronto, Canada from Hong Kong and her mother immigrated to Canada from Bogota, Colombia. Living in a diverse and multi-cultural home allowed Valentina to experience the beauty of different cultures around the world and to really appreciate and prioritize the value of family.
Valentina's professional goal is to help the community with any legal problems they may have. Prior to creating VSW Law, Valentina gained the invaluable mentorship of the esteemed Ahlam J. Balazs. Mrs. Balazs' renowned wisdom and compassion in law allowed for Valentina to fully realize her passions and pursue her dream of contributing to the community and making a positive impact on people's lives.
Valentina is fluent in English and can communicate in Spanish. On her free time, Valentina enjoys reading, running, and experimenting with new baking ideas.
